We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated English Teacher to join a reputable school in Cheshire. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS4 and KS5.

**Job Responsibilities:**

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge secondary students to reach their full potential
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, keeping regular records of academic performance
  • Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning
  • Collaborate with school management, teaching staff, and parents to provide quality academic support
  • Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
  • Use effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment

**Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Degree in a relative field (A Subject of Specialism)
  • Recognized qualification in teaching (preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field)
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
  • A passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000-£60,000 per annum, paid to scale on a permanent contract following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale.
