Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Cell Team within the business. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the assessment, development of PM systems and line performance at a fast-paced manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owns the Planned Maintenance process for the line, including deployment, execution, and reporting of KPIs for meetings and continuous improvement of the process and standards.
  • Owns the Planned Maintenance standards, including technical documentation, and continuously drives improvement of the PM standards.
  • Liaise with the maintenance planner to procure parts and supports the maintenance planning with updating the spare parts inventory policies.
  • Owns the Breakdown Elimination process for the line, including deployment, execution, and reporting of KPIs for meetings and continuous improvement of the process.
  • Leads the Breakdown Elimination Process and focuses on building technical capability in operators.
  • Supports the development and execution of distinct areas of the 90-day plan and weekly/monthly plans.
  • Supports and leads problem-solving sessions.

Requirements:

  • Computer literacy
  • Effective communicator and strong team member
  • Apprentice trained in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent
