Senior Estimator Opportunity at Steel Connexions Ltd

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Steel Connexions Ltd, a leading Steel Fabrication company. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing and producing tenders for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed estimates for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects.
  • Collaborate with estimating management, production management, site management, and company directors to ensure timely and profitable project delivery.
  • Conduct material take-offs, estimate labor, materials, and equipment costs, including MEWPs and Crane costs.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing and project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Structural Steel estimating.
  • High level of familiarity with the UK Steel industry.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work in an office-based environment.
