Job Title: Finance Systems Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Lead to join our team at DGH Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the support mailbox, working closely with the IT Service Desk team, and being a 'Go To' person for all key Finance Systems used by the Finance Team and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the Support mailbox and working closely with the IT Service Desk team
  • Being a 'Go To' person for all key Finance Systems used by the Finance Team and other key stakeholders
  • Keeping documentation of key setups and known issues up to date
  • Supporting Finance team and senior management team with 3E data extraction either direct from 3E or via Microsoft Reporting Services, including analysis and presentation utilising ad-hoc reports, SQL queries, design, and creation of new automated reports
  • Reviewing current systems processes and procedures and proposing improvements to workflow and reporting processes to improve service and information delivery to enable internal and external clients gain maximum benefit from 3E and Microsoft Reporting Services functionality
  • Leading Elite training initiatives for the Finance team and the wider business
  • Working closely with IT team on technical systems initiatives and management of relationship with Thomson Reuters / Elite
  • Developing the Operation Assistants within the team to make the team self-sufficient and to pass on knowledge as part of longer-term succession planning of the team
  • Being involved in other ad-hoc projects as and when they arise

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of Elite 3E
  • Extensive experience of SQL Server (incl advanced data interrogation techniques)
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Power BI
  • Experience in using other key Finance Systems such as Intapp applications (Time and Open), ARCS, Chrome River and Xcelerate
