About the Role

Job Title: Senior Designer

Skilled Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to lead our cladding remediation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant, and multi-million-pound cladding repatriations and regeneration contracts throughout London and the wider Southeast.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create drawings using relevant specifications and collaborate with the Design Manager, commercial, and project manager to ensure the design is within budget.
  2. Conduct site surveys, take photos, and create design drawings to accurately represent the site conditions.
  3. Manage and update drawings based on site-surveyed information, ensuring that they accurately reflect the site conditions.
  4. Liaise with manufacturers and project teams to distribute relevant documentation and respond to technical queries.
  5. Undertake site inspections to monitor and manage technical quality, ensuring that works are carried out as per specifications and manufacturers' recommendations.
Requirements
  1. Engineering or Architect-related studies or equivalent experience.
  2. CSCS card basic level.
  3. Facades experience, EWI, cladding, and rainscreen experience is essential.
  4. Competent user of MS Excel, MS Word, Microsoft Outlook, and calendars.
  5. Expert AutoCAD user (3D AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit optional).
