We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide support to a young person living with Angelman Syndrome in Ipswich.
About the Role:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the individual.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and light household duties.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment that promotes the individual's well-being.
- Follow individual care plans and guidelines closely.
- Plan and participate in leisure activities that cater to the individual's interests.
- Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with the individual and team members.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual's evolving needs.
- A UK driver's license is essential.
- Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development.
