We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced forklift maintenance technician to join our client's dedicated engineering team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of forklifts, working closely with our team to deliver a high standard of service output to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic repairs, engine rebuilds, mast removals, transmission removals, and split down to rebuilt. They will also have a good understanding of gas system knowledge and be able to work with any brand machine.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced forklift maintenance technician to take their career to the next level. Our client is offering a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus a £500 annual bonus and a 2-3% company performance bonus paid each April. We are also looking for someone who can commit to a day shift, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will hold a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Forklift Engineering or Plant and will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. They will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

As a forklift maintenance technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of our forklifts
  • Identifying and rectifying any faults or defects in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborating with our team to deliver a high standard of service output to our customers
  • Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues as needed
