Bennett and Game Recruitment is working with a leading multi-disciplined access, maintenance, and repair company that excels in innovation, engineering, and design excellence. This company operates in various sectors, including Oil and Gas, Hydro Power, Renewable Energy, and Petro Chemical.

We are seeking a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join their engineering team based in Edinburgh. As part of our team, you will deliver technical solutions on a variety of projects, ranging from high industrial structures to historic listed buildings. You will work closely with key accounts to provide engineering solutions and become an integral part of the team to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design steel and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with Eurocodes for predominantly industrial infrastructure.
  2. Develop temporary works designs for the company's in-house contracting business.
  3. Prepare inspection scopes and produce survey reports from site investigations.
  4. Conduct site surveys when required.
  5. Mentor graduate engineers and trainee technicians.
Requirements
  1. Proficient in the use of structural design software, such as Autodesk Robot and Tekla Tedds.
  2. Excellent time management skills to deliver calculations and reports to project deadlines.
  3. Minimum of 3 years' experience working in the UK construction industry.
  4. Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Team player to become an integral part of the engineering team.
  6. Full UK driving licence.
  7. Chartered or working towards chartership - support will be provided for the successful candidate to attain chartered status if not already chartered.
Qualifications

MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
