Responsible to: Decorating Plant Manager

Reporting positions: Operatives, Quality Control, Electrical Engineers

Location: Rotherham

Shift Pattern: Days (6am-2pm) and Afters (2pm-9pm)

Main Areas of Responsibility
  • Assist in all areas including:
  • Monitoring filters and ensuring they are changed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring correct paint colour and levels are maintained
  • Ensure traceability is retained through the process
  • Self-snapping with adjacent line
  • Recording minor stops
  • Autonomous maintenance when required
  • Achievement of departmental targets
  • Standing in for Plant Manager when off site
  • Assist the Quality Control Supervisor
Person Specification
  • Bottle knowledge
  • Experience of Lean Manufacturing – desirable
  • Experience of working within CI teams – desirable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work machinery and systems to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Understanding of targets and OTIF (On Time In Full)
  • Numerate and literate (GCSE or equivalent)
  • PC literate
  • First Aid trained – desirable
Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Decorating Plant Supervisor to join our team at Beatson Clark Plc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the decorating plant, including monitoring filters, ensuring correct paint colour and levels, and maintaining traceability.

They will also be responsible for self-snapping with adjacent line, recording minor stops, and performing autonomous maintenance when required.

The ideal candidate will have bottle knowledge, experience of Lean Manufacturing, and good written and verbal communication skills.

They will also be numerate and literate, with the ability to work machinery and systems to SOP's and understand targets and OTIF.

First Aid training is desirable, but not essential.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who can work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of departmental targets.

As a Decorating Plant Supervisor, you will be responsible for standing in for the Plant Manager when off site and assisting the Quality Control Supervisor.
