We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Director to build and lead the HR function for our new London team, working closely with the CEO to establish a high-performing team and drive organizational growth in this key market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent in digital media, ensuring a seamless onboarding process that aligns new hires with the company's mission and values.
  • HR Strategy and Planning: Design and implement tailored HR strategies, policies, and processes to meet the needs of a growing team; provide strategic HR insights to the CEO to support company goals.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that supports high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Performance Management: Establish performance evaluation processes to drive employee growth and align individual objectives with the company's business goals.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent, working closely with global HR teams to maintain consistency.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with UK employment laws and regulations, adapting global policies as needed.
  • Leadership Development and Succession Planning: Identify and nurture emerging leaders, providing development opportunities to support the company's future growth and succession needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years in HR management, ideally in a digital media, technology, or high-growth environment, with experience setting up HR functions for new teams or locations.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, culture-building, and HR strategy, especially in fast-paced or entrepreneurial settings.
  • UK Employment Law Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all HR practices.
  • Strategic and Hands-On: Ability to work both strategically and operationally, with a proactive approach to developing HR initiatives that support rapid growth.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working in a global or multi-cultural environment is preferred, with the ability to adapt and collaborate with diverse teams.

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits package.
