About the Role:
The Richmond Village in Witney is seeking a skilled Chef De Partie to join their team. As a Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in accordance with food hygiene regulations, catering to residents across the Village, and ensuring a welcoming, safe, and compliant environment for dining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cater to residents across the Village, including the care home, serviced suites, and Wellness Spa clients.
- Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations.
- Be aware of residents', villagers', and Wellness Spa clients' dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests.
- Be involved in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate, as required.
- Ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.
- Help maintain a clean and hygienic working area.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally catering for customers with special dietary requirements. You will also need to have an understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or Equivalent.
