Job Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprentices

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced production environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprentice to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to work on our packaging plant in Belfast. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct fault finding and problem-solving activities to resolve technical issues
  • Work with conveying systems, high-speed packaging, and automated machinery
  • Update the CMMS system and record accurate maintenance data
  • Work in a safe and effective manner, adhering to hygiene policies
Requirements
  • HNC or Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering
  • Proven maintenance experience in a production or FMCG setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of production equipment
  • Experience working with automated, high-speed machinery
  • Ability to fault find and troubleshoot effectively
  • Multi-skilled/mechatronic knowledge of other systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
