CNC Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Service Engineer to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our global operations, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and after-sales support to our clients.

As a CNC Service Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of planned maintenance within our operation. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventive maintenance schedules on customer sites in the UK and Worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing attitude, even in challenging situations. You will be willing to travel extensively and be away from home regularly. CNC Wood Cutting / Machine Tool experience is essential, and field service experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend service and breakdown visits across the UK and Worldwide.
  • Identify and supply replacement parts to customers in a time-critical manner.
  • Rectify electrical and Siemens software issues.
  • Complete service sheets electronically on an iPad and submit to the Spares & Service coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Visit key customers regularly to maintain customer satisfaction on days without a pre-booked visit.
  • Deliver an extremely high standard of customer support.
  • Prioritize the technical concerns and issues of customers from many locations.
  • Attend trade shows where necessary.
Requirements:
  • A positive and outgoing attitude, even in challenging situations.
  • Willing to travel extensively and be away from home regularly.
  • CNC Wood Cutting / Machine Tool experience.
