Senior Risk Manager Job Description

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of nine and playing a crucial role in shaping the company's risk management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze data on customer risk levels and review the accuracy of automated scorecards to ensure effective risk assessment.
  2. Participate in credit review meetings with senior leadership, providing insights on customer risk, industry trends, and credit assessment performance.
  3. Manage credit exposure levels and collaborate with credit and senior credit underwriters to understand the reasons behind exposure levels.
  4. Develop and present reports and approval requests to the board, including analysis and commentary on risk trends and credit assessment performance.
  5. Engage with other departments to gather feedback and implement necessary actions to improve risk management.
  6. Stay up-to-date with wider business needs and collaborate with departments to achieve business objectives.
