This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced audit professional to join our team as an External Audit Assistant Manager. As part of our UK-wide audit practice, you will have the chance to work on a diverse range of clients across various industries, from non-financial services to international groups.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting;
  • Developing and implementing effective audit strategies, leveraging your expertise in ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements;
  • Coordinating cross-border audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations;
  • Mentoring and supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally;
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, reviewing systems, processes, and control environments to provide valuable insights to our clients;

About You:

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in the UK audit market, preferably with a Big Four firm or a similar environment;
  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA(SA) or equivalent) with a strong understanding of auditing standards and regulations;
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders;
  • A working knowledge of ISAs, IFRS, UK GAAP, and financial reporting requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context;
