Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Maritime Contracts Manager to join our team at MSC Cruises.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial shipping lawyer with experience in contract preparation and review, litigation, and incident handling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review contracts for shipbuilding, ship repair, and supply;
  • Assist in ship deliveries and guarantee issues;
  • Conduct general litigation and handle incidents and claims;
  • Liaise with senior management and department heads;
  • Provide company secretarial support;
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Legal.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of post-qualification experience as a UK/EU qualified lawyer;
  • English as first working language (knowledge of Italian an advantage);
  • Experience in maritime law firms, shipowners, or marine insurance companies.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a comprehensive pension scheme and life assurance.
