Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a visible and effective presence to ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff, as well as the protection of property across both hospital sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-quality security service to both the Arrowe Park and Clatterbridge Hospital sites
  • Respond to and manage challenging situations in a courteous and helpful manner
  • Ensure car parks on the hospital grounds are operational and used effectively and correctly by visitors and staff
  • Report incidents involving aggression or violence, loss of equipment, or damage to property
Requirements:
  • Previous security experience within the healthcare environment
  • Full current clean driving licence
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution within a healthcare environment
  • Ability to communicate easily and confidently with all levels of personnel, colleagues, patients, and visitors
