About the Role

As a Cleaning Specialist at Lidl, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our stores. This involves thoroughly cleaning the store, including trolley bays, car parks, and outside spaces, to create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial cleaning machinery with confidence and efficiency.
  • Clean the welfare area, including toilets, waste, and recycling sections.
  • Proactively ensure that hygiene and Health and Safety standards are upheld.
  • Carry out minor maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy store environment, ensuring that all areas are clean and free from obstacles.

Requirements

  • Experience in cleaning or maintenance is beneficial but not essential.
  • A hands-on approach and keen eye for detail are essential.
  • You'll need to be passionate about delivering exceptional results for your store and team.
  • Drive and independence will enable you to carry out your tasks effectively.
