About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Tenancy Sustainment Coordinator at Hestia Housing Support. As a key member of our Mental Health and Complex Needs Service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver tailored support plans to empower individuals to maintain their tenancies and achieve independent living.
  • Work closely with service users, statutory agencies, and voluntary sector providers to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
  • Conduct needs assessments, risk assessments, and aspiration-based assessments to inform support plans.
  • Formulate, implement, and review SMART support plans to achieve goals and aspirations.
  • Engage service users' supporters in support plans, including statutory and voluntary sector providers.
  • Utilize key-working sessions to enable individuals to develop, sustain, and maximize independence.
  • Deliver a flexible, dynamic, proactive, and responsive service according to client needs.
  • Motivate service users in all aspects of tenancy sustainment.
  • Engage service users in activities that support their physical and mental wellbeing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working in a target-led environment, with a focus on housing and homelessness support.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with welfare benefits legislation and health and safety.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse client groups.
  • Impeccable organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
