Are you passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs and autism? Do you have a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Worker to join our team at a specialist centre for adults with complex needs and severe autism. As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in developing life skills and promoting independence in our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable and support personal development and promotion of independence
  • Liaise with supervisors to identify and work towards targets
  • Provide personal care and support
  • Collect and analyse data to monitor progress and adapt learning programmes as necessary
  • Use a calm approach to conflict resolution and behaviour management

Requirements:

  • You will require a child and adult DBS
  • You will not be barred from working with children
  • You will have access to your own mode of transport due to the location of the centre
