Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a variety of projects in different key sectors such as Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Research, Transport, and Commercial.

You will support the development of initial engineering concepts through to the delivery of detailed designs and specifications. This will involve undertaking site surveys and investigations, and seeing your designs become a reality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to developing the design of engineering solutions and systems within the built environment, preparing plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Inspect installations, reviewing progress, quality, and performance.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience at another multi-disciplinary, building services, or engineering consultancy.
  • Professional qualifications such as a degree/HND in BSc/BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering or similar.
  • Working towards or a Member or Associate of Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE).
  • A clear understanding of the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical building services within the built environment.
  • Project Leading/Client Facing experience would be advantageous.
