About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Geotechnical Design Specialist to join our talented team in London. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative geotechnical design solutions for various sectors.

Salary:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience, based on industry standards for a Geotechnical Design Specialist in London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality geotechnical designs for various projects, utilizing expertise in civil engineering, geology, and/or engineering geology with a focus on geotechnical engineering modules.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective project management and people management skills are applied.
  • Develop interpretive reports and geotechnical analysis using specialized software such as Plaxis, Wallap, Oasys suite (PDisp, XDisp, Alp), etc.
  • Maintain a UK driving licence for business purposes.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in civil engineering, geology, and/or engineering geology with a focus on geotechnical engineering modules.
  • Prior experience within an engineering consultancy, demonstrating people and project management skills relevant to the role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical software and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the company's mission and values.
