Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Early Years Foundation Stage

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at New Directions Holding. The successful candidate will provide support to Early Years Foundation Stage students, assisting with their educational and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to EYFS students to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive learning activities, promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment for young learners.
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and cognitive development, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to implement Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students, monitoring their progress and making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom, enabling them to fully participate in activities and reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is essential.
  • Ability to engage and inspire young children in their learning, promoting a love of education and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting student growth and development.
