We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Assistant to join our team at Huntress. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing complex account assignments, ensuring timely completion and high standards. Your expertise in accounting software packages, including CCH, Silverfin, Caseware, Alpha Tax, Sage, and Xero, will be essential in reviewing statutory and management accounts, preparing corporation tax computations, and training team members. Additionally, you will handle client portfolios, build and maintain client relationships, and liaise with senior management and partners as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex account assignments, ensuring timely completion and high standards.
  • Review and prepare statutory and management accounts, corporation tax computations, and other financial reports.
  • Train and develop team members in accounting software and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Liaise with senior management and partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified with experience in FRS102 1A.
  • Knowledge and experience of SRAs, International accounts, Consolidated accounts, or Charity accounts.
  • Ability to manage own workload in a timely and efficient manner, with strong attention to detail.
  • Degree qualification, 2:1 or higher, or 3 high A-Level results (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and ability to pick up new IT packages.
