About You:

  • You must have experience as a bar and waiting assistant, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.
  • You should have experience with cash handling and be eligible to work in the UK.

About the Role:

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving food and beverages to private members and visitors
  • Opening and closing the bar, including locking the clubhouse
  • Cash handling and processing transactions
  • Locking up and opening up the club
  • Supervising part-time and casual staff
  • Running small functions and societies
  • Setting up the dining room for functions and societies
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar and function room
  • Maintaining bar stocks and undertaking daily cleaning tasks
  • Assisting in the preparation of basic food items as required

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £19,500 per annum, which is commensurate with industry standards for this role in Essex. In addition to your salary, you can expect:
