About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Contact Centre Applications team as a Lead Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and supporting Contact Centre technologies, defining medium to long-term strategies for Contact Centre product lines, and leading the adoption of technical standards and processes across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Contact Centre applications using technologies such as Genesys, Verint, Power BI, Omilia, and Nuance.
  • Champion the evolution and delivery of high-quality software that is easy to maintain and clean to operate, ensuring the best practice adoption of technical support principles, standards, and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the strategic vision for Contact Centre products, leveraging technical expertise in Contact Centre, Telephony, and Channel domains.
  • Lead and develop a coaching and mentoring culture within engineering teams, ensuring the adoption of best practices and technical standards.
  • Mitigate risks and issues, ensuring all requests for live support are dealt with according to set standards and procedures, including out-of-hours support as required.

What You'll Need:

  • Extensive experience in Domain/Software technologies, including Genesys, Verint, Power BI, Omilia, and Nuance.
  • Strong technical expertise in Contact Centre, Telephony, and Channel domains.
  • Experience leading and developing engineering teams, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
