We're seeking a seasoned People leader to join our team at Cleo AI. As VP of People - Talent and Culture, you'll be responsible for leading our Talent and People team, driving our people strategy, and fostering a high-performance culture that supports our growth and success.
About the Role:
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, covering our Head of People's maternity leave and supporting our search for a new Chief People Officer. You'll oversee our talent acquisition, people partnering, workplace experience, and people ops teams, working closely with our CEO and Chief of Staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement our people strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and values.
- Lead our Talent and People team, guiding and coaching them to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with our Head of Talent to drive our employer brand, talent pipelining, and hiring processes.
- Oversee our people ops agenda, working closely with our People Ops Lead to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, employee benefits management, and data-driven decision making.
- Drive employee engagement, productivity, and retention, ensuring our high performers thrive and are empowered to do their best work.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust throughout organizational changes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading high-performing People and Talent teams, ideally in a VC-backed business.
- Strong track record of building and improving tech-focused employer brands, attracting top talent, and cultivating inclusive cultures.
- Experience managing ER in the UK and internationally, with a keen eye for improvement and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent emotional intelligence, empathy, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft and execute effective communication strategies.
