We are seeking an experienced Conservation Architect to join our client's team in Winchester. As a leading architectural practice, they have a diverse portfolio of exciting projects spanning various sectors, including historic restoration, interiors, and commercial developments.

The successful candidate will have several years of post-qualification experience, strong technical and design abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of construction detailing and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on conservation and restoration projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that balance preservation and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and partnerships.

Requirements:

  • ARB Registered
  • Substantial post-qualification experience
  • Attentiveness to detail
  • Ideally knowledge of traditional and classical architectural concepts
  • Experience in job running across all RIBA stages
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong design and technical detailing
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD and other relevant software
  • AABC or RIBA SCA/CA accreditations or working towards
  • Proven record working on bespoke high-end and conservation specialist projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of building contracts and contract administration
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driven, ambitious, and creatively minded individual
  • Willingness to travel within the UK
  • Positive and motivated attitude
  • Ambitious to succeed and progress
