We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team at a high-end Gastro Pub in Surrey.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hospitality Professional to join our dedicated team and contribute to the success of our pub group. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a management role within a food-focused pub or restaurant setting. They will possess excellent leadership and people management skills, with a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including kitchen and bar management. A keen eye for detail and financial acumen will also be essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team to deliver consistently exceptional customer service
  • Oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and monitor quality control in both food and service
  • Champion warm, attentive, and efficient service, ensuring all guests have a memorable dining experience
  • Support in managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and controlling costs
  • Manage stock levels, coordinate orders, and maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality ingredients
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a management role within a food-focused pub or restaurant setting
  • A strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including kitchen and bar management
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • An eye for detail, particularly in maintaining food presentation, cleanliness, and overall venue appearance
  • Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and cost control
