Job Description

Simpson Booth Limited is seeking a Management Reporting Specialist to develop and maintain financial reports that support business decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed reports, analysing financial data, and providing insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, including management accounts and statistical analyses.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and external partners.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and general ledger accounts.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations, including VAT and tax requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Candidates should possess part-qualified or working towards professional qualification, or relevant experience.

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
