About the Company

Our client is a leading independent manufacturer of specialty products for a wide range of industrial applications. The business is investing in its current production and engineering capabilities and is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work alongside junior Electrical Engineers.

Working Hours

The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 7:30am to 4pm.

Electrical Engineer - The Rewards

The successful candidate can expect:

Electrical Engineer - Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need:

  • Electrical engineering qualifications
  • 18th edition certification
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (desirable)
  • Substantial practical experience in the role
  • Proven experience working with drives and controls
  • Diagnostic ability
  • A valid UK driver's license

Electrical Engineer - Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting routine maintenance and testing on commercial plant and equipment
  • Assessing and identifying faulty parts
  • Rewiring faulty electrical systems
  • Working as part of a team or individually to find and repair faults in electrical systems
