Senior Affiliate Account Manager

A Senior Affiliate Account Manager plays a pivotal role in the Account Management team, providing key clients with expert knowledge of the affiliate channel and tailored, strategic growth plans, aligned to program KPIs.
About the RoleA Senior Affiliate Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional service and relationship management to clients and publishers across assigned accounts. This includes ownership of assigned accounts delivery and service levels, proactively providing insights to the Director of Client Services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver strong decision-making in line with company goals, social, and environmental best practices.
- Negotiate bespoke exposure packages on behalf of own portfolio and the Webgains team.
- Conduct off-platform recruitment in line with program specifications.
- Develop vertical-based launch strategies for new programs to the Webgains portfolio and guide/mentor more junior team members on SLA fulfillment.
- Responsible for developing and hosting vertical-specific workshops aimed at educating the Account Management team.
- Contract re-negotiation within own portfolio and on behalf of more junior members of the team.
- Line management of more junior colleagues, assuming overall responsibility for performance and providing guidance, including PSRs.
- Point of escalation for more junior members of the team, able to diffuse negative situations and maintain relationships.
- Participate in developing AM team direction, vision, and strategy in line with Webgains objectives.
- Budget management to ensure optimal ROI - pace performance as per clients' needs and advise on where to best invest budget to maximize results.
- Advocate and sell affiliate concepts, publisher types, and opportunities to clients while highlighting the scale of opportunity and relevant reasons to obtain signoff.
- Demonstrate some/sound/considerable understanding and experience of affiliate marketing & recruitment.
- Advanced capability with Microsoft Office products.
- Enthusiastic learner, seeking knowledge on the internet economy and affiliate channel, competitor, and subject matter best practice.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving experience, sufficient for resolving complex client relationships or publisher channel-related issues.
- Strong experience at Account Management level.
- Extensive experience of QBR ownership and presentation.
- Ability to plan on an annual basis, using long-range forecasts and KPIs to ensure performance over an extended period.
- Demonstrable proactivity in reviewing campaign performance, adjusting exposure/placements, and liaising with publishers to address issues with performance.
- Comfortable analyzing data sets from a wide variety of sources, drawing both user and market actionable insights.
- Previous experience of line management would be advantageous.
- Working hours: 40 per week.
- Working days: Monday - Friday.
- Job location: 3 days London Office (Mon, Thu, +1 other day), 2 days working from home.
