Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Travelling to customers' sites in the UK and overseas/offshore to undertake calibrations and inspections of gas quality measurement systems.
- Receiving support and training to become a technical expert in gas measurement and calibration.
- Operating and using job databases and related electronic documentation relevant to your area of operation.
- Assisting quality management with the continual development and improvement of the quality system.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be able to drive with your own vehicle.
- To be willing to travel frequently both in the UK and overseas.
- To be happy to work in a hands-on manner.
- To have excellent communication skills and be able to converse with confidence at different seniority levels.
- To have a high level of numeracy and a genuine interest in mathematics and science.
- To have sound organisational ability with the capacity to work individually or within a team.
- To be able to follow an approved and documented procedure.
