Job Description:

Premier Recruitment Group Limited are seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Importing CSV files into the system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborating closely with the Payroll Manager and Registrations Team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Managing workload effectively, prioritizing tasks, and handling a busy inbox.
  • Addressing incoming calls and inquiries, escalating issues to relevant parties as necessary.
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies and explaining complex payroll concepts to employees and clients.
  • Exhibiting strong Excel skills for data management and analysis.
  • Paying attention to payroll processing: generating trials/journals and producing payment schedules for BACS payments.
  • Processing weekly payrolls and additional/favorable payments, reviewing client billable expenses, and ensuring all figures balance.
Person Specification:
  • Prior experience in payroll is essential.
  • Working with an umbrella company is a desirable bonus.
  • Due to the location, it is imperative that you have your own transport.
Benefits and Salary:
