Skilled Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team at Rise Technical Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting and operating a variety of manual and machine tools to produce new and refurbished components.
Key Responsibilities:- Set and operate manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines to produce high-quality components.
- Ensure all pre-safety checks are completed, and that all equipment and guarding in the Machine Shop is maintained to a high standard.
- Work with the Team Leader/Manager to ensure accurate and on-time completion of machining requirements.
- Complete workshop documentation, quality plans, workshop instructions, and all relevant inspection records to meet departmental daily/weekly work schedules.
- Time-served craftsperson in an appropriate discipline with extensive experience of manual lathes, horizontal borers, vertical borers, and milling machines.
- A passion for delivering high-quality work and a commitment to ongoing training and development.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
