Laboratory Support Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Support Supervisor to join our team at SRG. As a key member of our laboratory support team, you will be responsible for leading a team of lab support specialists and ensuring the smooth operation of our GMP QC laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and assign lab support activities, reporting progress and performance to client stakeholders and SRG management.
- Act as a primary point of contact between client lab leaders and the SRG Lab Support team.
- Work with client scientists and SRG managers to identify and develop new support areas and activities.
- Deliver training to other members of the SRG team, following established training procedures.
- Lead CI activities to improve lab processes, coaching other SRG team members to implement CI and best practices.
- Act as process owner/SME for lab support work in external and internal audits.
- Support the onboarding of team members, providing guidance on training requirements, IT system access, and GMP ways of working.
- Ensure the entire SRG Lab Support team is always compliant with client policies and GMP requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree level qualification in an appropriate scientific discipline (e.g. Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry) or equivalent experience.
- Track record of supervising or coordinating lab-based scientific activities.
- Experience of working to work instructions and SOPs/Risk Assessments.
- Customer service focus, with ability to balance competing priorities.
- Good planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Developed IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, LIMS, SAP, etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
