Procurement Category Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Category Manager to join our team at Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for gift cards, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process for gift cards, including stock management and ordering processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and internal teams.
- Be the expert on all gift card systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration between in-store and online platforms.
- Provide day-to-day support for gift card queries from stores, retail operations, IT, loss prevention, finance, and external partners.
- Work closely with large 3rd party partners to deliver B2C, B2B, and gift mall sales.
- Lead the development of Gift Guide pages and manage the supply/allocation process for stores.
- Request and manage POs to ensure timely payment to suppliers.
- Support managers in delivering sales, strategy, and innovation within the category.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and ability to identify new opportunities and efficiencies for the category.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in procurement or a related field, with a focus on gift cards or a similar product category.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
