Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our client's team in the Dartford area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and assembly, with excellent welding and fastening skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components according to precise specifications.
  • Utilize various techniques such as welding, riveting, and other fastening methods to create robust assemblies.
  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure fabricated components fit correctly.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a sheet metal worker, preferably within the lift, escalator, or a related industry. Proficiency in welding, metal cutting, bending, and shaping techniques is essential. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents is also required. Physical demands include the ability to work on your feet, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks safely and effectively.

What We Offer
A competitive salary of £15-18 per hour (DOE), paid overtime at 1.5 times the hourly rate, free parking, 31 days annual leave including bank holidays, and a pension scheme.
