Job Summary

Aldwych Consulting LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the structural design team, you will be responsible for delivering complex structural design solutions for projects in the power industry.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled structural designer to take on a technical lead role and work on a variety of projects, including substation design, battery storage facilities, and blast-resistant buildings. You will be working closely with a team of experienced engineers to deliver high-quality designs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex structural design solutions for projects in the power industry
  • Work closely with the design team to deliver high-quality designs and solutions
  • Take on a technical lead role and provide guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Contribute to the development of the structural design team and help to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in structural design, preferably in the power industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of structural design software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A Chartered status or equivalent
