Hospital Pharmacy Quality Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Hospital Pharmacy Quality Lead to join our team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 5+ years experience in pharmacy or Clinical QA looking to work in the public sector.
The salary for this position is £51K - 57K per annum, including enhanced holiday pay, pension, and discount benefits. As a Hospital Pharmacy Quality Lead, you will be responsible for managing and operating the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) in the BHSCT, ensuring the service operates in line with relevant statutory legislation, standards and guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the investigation of quality deviations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop, manage, and operate the change control process.
- Apply principles of quality risk management.
- Ensure awareness of quality exceptions and satisfactory corrective and preventative action is taken.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MPharm pharmacist with 5 years post-registration experience, at least 2 years in a hospital environment or QA or GMP.
- Membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
- Good understanding and application of regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Process (GMP).
