The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is partnering with Local Councils and SEND teams to provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with Special Educational Needs.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Tutor to provide support to a Year 2 student with limited communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and be able to create bespoke learning opportunities.

Position Details:

  • Location: Wigan
  • Position: Year 2 SEN Tutor
  • Hours: Flexible working hours available
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Hourly rate: £25.00-£30.00 per hour

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with SEND students
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to be creative, patient, and think outside the box

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references
