Job Title: Utilities Industry Expert

Salary: £85,000 - £110,000 per annum

The role involves engaging stakeholders across multiple teams/organizations for technology delivery and business change. You will take ownership and solve unclear or ambiguous problem statements and complex technical issues. You will also assist programme leadership in managing risks/issues and in managing the delivery.

About Your Role

  • Assist programme leadership in managing risks/issues and in managing the delivery.
  • Contribute to firm development and practice development initiatives, e.g., innovation and learning.
  • Support leadership team on bids and pursuits.
  • Gather, synthesize, document, and communicate business requirements and information for a range of audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and Agile ways of working.
  • Experience of working in large-scale projects.

Requirements

You should have 4+ years of Utilities-related experience. Experience with the Utilities industry, across one of the sectors of Electricity, Gas or Water. You should also have experience within the Utilities industry value chain across Gas, Electricity and Water - Retail, Transmission and Distribution.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's degree with strong academic results in a relevant field, MBA (Tier 1), Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE2 certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
  • Utilities industry knowledge.
  • Capital projects knowledge/experience.
  • Have experience or exposure to business development.
