Credit Controller

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday - flexible start and finish times

Location: Office based, just outside of Derby City Centre

Note: Potential 4 day working week, but being in the office on a Friday is essential.

We are seeking a diligent Credit Controller to manage the allocation of cash, copying invoices and statements, handling customer queries, and maintaining a bad debtors list.

The role involves working with a fantastic team in Derby, where the majority of customers are reliable payers, making the chasing aspect of the role manageable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Allocation of cash payments
  2. Copying and sending invoices and statements to customers
  3. Resolving customer payment queries
  4. Chasing outstanding debts and maintaining a bad debtors list
  5. Potentially taking over responsibility for raising and sending sales invoices

Desired Skills:

  1. Experience in credit control
  2. Strong attention to detail and organization
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Knowledge of payroll is advantageous but not essential

If you're an all-rounder with some experience in payroll, that would be a bonus, but it's not a deal breaker.
