About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at the City of Edinburgh Council. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for delivering a vital janitorial service across our estate to ensure our properties are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake day-to-day FM, janitorial, and DIY operations across one or more buildings, including small repairs, general maintenance, reactive cleaning, and basic security functions.
  • Perform equipment and furniture maintenance, building maintenance and services, security of premises and grounds, and grounds maintenance.
  • Conduct cleaning and tidying tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
