Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of pricing models and risk governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive business decisions through data-driven insights and actuarial advice.
- Develop and maintain pricing tools and models to enhance our pricing sophistication and data quality.
- Lead strategic projects to drive competitive advantage and improve business performance.
- Work closely with underwriting, portfolio management, and data analytics teams to ensure analytical tools lead to improved decision making.
The actuarial team at Liberty Specialty Markets evaluates business performance and provides a clear, risk-based view for making decisions on business strategy and risk mitigation. We collaborate with other functions in the actuarial support of data & analytics, capital management, exposure management, and reinsurance purchasing & strategy.
Requirements:- Nearly/newly Qualified Actuary
- Relevant work experience in the general insurance, reinsurance, or consultancy field
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills, communicating with a range of internal and external clients
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills required
- Strong skills with practical experience in Excel, SQL, Python, R, PowerPivot, PowerBI, and DAX
