Key Responsibilities- Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to provide individualised support to students.
- Assist with the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Support students in their academic activities, including reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and achievements.
- Assist in the supervision of students during break times, outings, and extracurricular activities.
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Relevant experience working with children with complex needs and learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education strategies and practices.
- A genuine passion for supporting the educational development of children with diverse needs.
