Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Engineer to join our team at Element Materials Technology. As a senior member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Connected Technologies business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical leadership and expertise in the development of new technologies
  • Ensuring accurate and timely release of testing data to customers, including the creation and sign-off of test reports
  • Overseeing and guiding problem-solving of complex technical challenges
  • Providing input and support on business development opportunities with new or existing customers
  • Assisting in the professional development of technicians and engineers within the local laboratory
  • Supporting technical leadership to interpret and apply regulations to various cutting-edge technologies
  • Working a morning and evening shift pattern

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Knowledge of ETSI and FCC Radio test standards
  • Strong understanding of Wireless Technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee)
  • Reasonable understanding of ISO / IEC 17025 and quality system management
  • In-depth knowledge of testing Consumer Products for global certification requirements
  • Ability to develop technical knowledge in their chosen field
  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety
