Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Part Time School Minibus Driver to join our team at a private school located in East Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting pupils to and from school, maintaining the vehicle, and adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport pupils to and from school as directed by the school's business manager
  • Conduct daily maintenance checks of the vehicle prior to departure
  • Drive the school minibus in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Ensure the safety of students during transportation, including proper seatbelt use and emergency procedures
  • Use the transport app Vectare to record pupils who have been collected and dropped off at the school
  • Maintenance of the vehicle and reporting any issues to the management staff at the school
  • Follow the school's designated routes in order to ensure a smooth drive to the school's premises
