Employment Lawyer Opportunity in Leeds

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join our client's in-house team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work as an employment lawyer in a high-profile organisation, offering bespoke hours and excellent benefits.

The role is ideal for an employment lawyer seeking a stimulating in-house position within a collegiate environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on day-to-day employment issues and commercial recommendations
  • Conducting negotiations on behalf of the organisation in disputes and at the Employment Tribunal as appropriate
  • Working closely with the Human Resource Development team
  • Conducting Employment Tribunal advocacy and instructing external lawyers as necessary
  • Acting as an advocate at internal tribunal proceedings
  • Drafting, updating and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures
  • Delivering training to the Human Resources team

About the role:

  • UK experience is essential
  • Between 5-10+ years of post-qualification experience is required
