About the Role:

  • Project Setup & Documentation: Collaborate with the project lead to establish project setups post-appointment, preparing critical documentation such as the project execution plan, schedules, and registers.
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Participate in quality assurance checks, ensuring that designs meet Formation Architects' standards and procedures.
  • Change & Risk Management: Help manage design changes and risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all adjustments are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Invoicing & Financial Monitoring: Assist in project invoicing and tracking financial performance, ensuring budgets are monitored and cost control measures are implemented.
  • Project Compliance: Ensure adherence to project execution plans and compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Fee Proposals & Appointments: Assist in preparing fee proposals, including fee calculations, and reviewing appointments for potential projects.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Formal qualification in Architecture, Project Management, Engineering, Building Surveying, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in software such as Powerproject, Rapport3, Deltek, CMap, and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Numerical & Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret project data for accurate reporting and financial tracking.
  • Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to managing tasks and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations: Familiarity with UK planning, building regulations, and RIBA Workstages is essential.
  • Team Player: Approachable and collaborative, with a willingness to contribute and assist across various project stages as required.
What We Offer:
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company
  • A vibrant and inclusive work environment that fosters creativity and collaboration
  • Exposure to a diverse range of projects with leading architects and designers in the industry
